Used Oil Collection
Southern
Oil Refineries (SOR) works with used oil collection services on a national
basis. This establishes a secure supply to the refinery and provides a
valuable end of life oil removal service to customers.
The collection of used oil serves two important functions. First, collecting used oil removes used, spent or unwanted materials as a service to the generator and eliminates the chance of environmental damage. As importantly, the collection process is also the first step in the chain of quality assurance measures eventually leading to production of the "as good as or better than virgin" base oil products available from SOR.
